I’ve just watched some of today’s highlights at the paralympics and wow, it is incredibly inspirational!
Jiang Fuying of China came 3rd in the women’s 100m backstroke S6.
Oscar Pistorius won a gold in the men’s 100m T44.
And the women’s 100m T44 was very dramatic with the woman in front going down and taking the 2nd placed athlete with her. Green from Germany won the event.
What a awesome testimony to the world of faithfulness! They use their talents to serve others.They make the best use of their time and live lifes filled with commitment, responsibility and meaning.We appreciate such dependable people.Someone once said: “The greatest ability is dependability”. Know that greater rewards are in store for you all that are faithful.
My husband is inspiring. He lost his foot recently and got his new foot 2 weeks ago. He walked immediately, in the
doctors room- doctors never seen this before. Two weeks
after this he has driven our car,bakkie and also his truck.
He has returned to his business, which is outdoors,rugged terrain, and is coping wonderfully. Stompie is just sensitive and swollen, but this apparently takes 2 months of adjusting to carrying weight on it. It truly goes to show, its all attitude and we would like to thank God who showed
us He IS REAL through all of this. God has never let us down, we have only recently given our hearts to Him.
About time, also…..but absolutely worth it all the way…..
